“The Graveyard Gnash took to the pitch after their humiliating loss in the Blitz Invitational and recieved another humiliating loss. They earned a record 0 points for the Blitz Invitational and have quickly become the worst team in the tournament. However, this has been due to some poor luck with injuries, and so coach Oblitzamanger still believs that this team can come back to be a force in the tourney.

However, with a loss like today, this seems unlikely. With the dodging Werewolf out for the match, with a Flesh Golem being killed in the last game, and with Wenky, a Zombie, being arrested just before the match started, the team was down to just 8 players to start the match. And the Block skill against them did not help at all. Quickly their numbers were reduced to just 7 as Clawmide, the blocking Werewolf, was badly hurt on the Dirty Foot's second turn. After that, they couldn't stop being injured as the Norsemen scored an easy touchdown.

Sollong, a Wight, was sent to the badly hurt box early on too, as the Gnash tried to get the touchdown back with only 5 players. Of course, they failed and only due to bad luck did the Norsemen not score a second in the first half.

The Gnash tried again, and failed miserably again. At least they had two players with ag3 that time. The Norsemen quickly came back when Gregolio, a Ghoul, fumbled a desperate pass to Smashine, the team's only surviving Flesh Golem. 2 - 0

Then, after what seemed like the remnants of a drive, the Dirty Foot got their feet dirty after spraining the groin of one Zombie in a block and gouging the eye of another in a foul. They scored their third on the last turn, ending the game 3 - 0.

In all, an easy win for the Norsemen, which is what was obviously predicted.

Coach Oblitzamanger said this to us after the game. "This was a recovery match for the team. After their horrible exit from the Blitz Invitational, and withough their star Werewolf, there was no hope of even tying this match, which I knew from the start. I'm trying to focus on team developement now. They are way behind the leaders of the tournament in terms of TR and TS, so I am trying to get them back up to par.

"I want to thank coach Manbush for the game. Why I agreed to a game with a team with all Block is a mystery even to me. Still, I enjoyed the match and hope to have more between us in the future. And for the record, I am not steamed about the unecessary foul near the end of the game when the game was over (although I was not accused of being so). If I had been in the same position with the Gnash (ha! like that will ever happen!) I would have fouled too hoping for that illusive new Zombie which will never come..."

He then made a sacrifice to Nuffle right there on the pitch. After the game, he was able to buy a replacement Flesh Golem with the money and Wenky, who spent the match in jail, somehow earned the MVP. He learned how to Block, the first skill learned by a Zombie on the team.”
