“Had to do a recovery match, but I was fairly confident I'd win this one. Then the match starts, and my ogre and two best blitzers get Morley's, and I'm kicking. Without the man power, I couldn't do anything and I did my best to keep the damage at a minimum. Second drive, my t8, rather than attempt a oneturner with ma8 ag3 catchers, I opted for trying for those three MB to work, and it did.

Third drive, I receive, and I thought I had a fairly safe pocket for my 28spp lino to score, but he gets marked with an SF/tentacles rotter. Couldn't blitz that guy favorably, and the lino didn't escape from its clutches. In the ensuing blocks, the ball went to the other team, and they take it to the other side for a 0-2.

The fact that my MB blocks worked as intended and Cloggy's didn't, didn't go unnoticed, so despite the loss I was lucky and recovered the team well enough for the next match. Winnings were good, FF stayed the same, no injuries/rips, blitzer didn't age at 51. Good results all in all.
