“The game began with the Westies kicking off, throwing 5 blocks and breaking armour on all 5 in the very first turn: 2 stuns, 2 KOs, 1 BH. Two turns later the dark elves had got the ball off the remaining rats, and caged it with the witch elf carrying.
This set the pattern for the first half, which ended with Jackobus scoring in turn 8 with only 5 rats still on the field.
The second half began with 8 rats kicking off to the elves, but Nuffle decided to give the rats some hope, and following a 2 dice both down/rr/ both down block, then a snake eyes dodge by the ball-carrier on the next turn, Vara-GR stole in to make it 2-1 in turn 10.
Again, the rats kick off, now down to 7. This time the Westies played safe, holding a cage back to receive. They safely recovered, and began removing rats while moving sedately down the right flank. After reducing the rats to 5, the darkies stalled, to make sure of the win.
However, there was one turn of fate left. Determined to gain Jackobus a skill, She Who walks OBG hands off in turn 14 - rolls 1. No RRs left.
Turn 15, Jackobus tries to pick it up - rolls a 1.
Nerves jangling, drum roll..........
Turn 16, rolls a 4.... scores. Phew.
