#1 Arnor Lifetaker – Dead (RIP) #7 Vorador Rose – Dead (RIP)
“This was the kind of game that makes you rethink your place in the world. Nuffle whatever did I do to deserve this?!! The legendary weapon masters brought their A game and smacked the upstart dark elves upside the head. It wasn't the dirty player gang-foul that that killed poor Mr. Rose. He and the apothecary had a difference of opinion on his value to the team. It wasn't even when my ag 5 elf died in a clumsy attempt to dodge. I think it was the fear in my teams heart as it listened to a rat ogre scream in rage ten out of sixteen turns.
To my shame, yes, a turn 16 foul was attempted. But having been inflicted such loss, who can blame a simple dark elf coach for wanting a little vengeance.”
“T-16 foul aside, this was a very rough match which my opponent took quite well. Instead of grumbling about his own losses, he set about trying to ensure I lost players myself. Only the one cas suffered, with the apo actually earning his pay for a change.
First three cas in the game were all RIP, and all in a few seconds' time of each other--gang-foul RIP, apo fail; block-foul RIP, apo work; failed dodge RIP, no apo left. For the remainder of the game (11-12 turns), every single block, dodge or GFI had both coaches holding their breadth, waiting for the results. Couple BH witches and MNG elf rounded out the bashing, with the rats just running away with the scoring. Two new skills, nobody missing for next game, cash enough to replace our SV...looks like there is indeed life after 400!”
