“The battle of the Commons! Rival coaches Ryce and T_Havok decided to settle the best human team once and for all: the venerable franchise or the young upstarts!

It would prove to be the Gyspies day. The Gypsies wrested the ball from the Soapy boys and Mace Jawshatter would score the first touchdown of the game.

It was a game of many firsts. Brimstone and Leadfist both picked up their first casualities. Cougar would pick up a loose ball and score his first touchdown at the end of the first half (does he seem quicker to you now?).

Coach Ryce was adamant about giving Dirk Drawbridge a chance to shine. With the team from the beginning, Dirk had yet to make any significant play, save being nominated for MVP once. Though it took him several tries, Dirk would complete a pass to Cougar, sending him to the next level of ability. The entire team deserves credit for holding off the Company boys long enough to let Drawbridge seal the deal.

Not to be outdone, St. Stone (the scoring machine) would burn into the endzone with a third goal goal. Still the MVP would go to the newest blitzer, Leadfist.

With increased fan factor and a healthy purse, the Dark Waterers hired some sages to increase their abilities to make the right calls in the future. Still, position #1 sits noticeably empty awaiting the fourth King.

Grimble Gromble has proved to be rather sluggish. This is his fifth game with the team and he has yet to produce any notable events. Still, his presence serves as a distraction to the opposition, so the rest of the boys can do what they need to do to win.
