My 11 guys brought a Wizard to the party against some seriously steroid abusing Orcs. With a str4 blitzer, a str5 BOB and a str6 troll to face it was always a case of try the desperate from turn 1.

As so often in BB fortune favoured the insane and 2 early crowdpushes SI'd a BOB and killed a blitzer. While my armour held up long enough to keep me competitive the Orcs 12 men proved insufficient as even the smelling salts and iron man handicaps didnt allow decker to field more than 9 for most of the game.

the first half started with those key injuries allowing me to outflank the ponderous orcs and run a quick TD in in turn 4. With 5 turns left it looked unlikely that I would be able to prevent the equaliser but with the SF guys doing their thing on both sides i was able to halt most of deckers team and even the breakway Str4 Blitzer Orc found himself in heavy traffic. A failed dodge meant we went in for oranges still at 1-0.

the second half was more fo the same with a Str5 BOB trying the side sneak and my CDB's valiantly taking the hits and holding the play up. Eventually his troll went stupid in a key turn allowing me to wrestle the ball free and run it in for 2-0. Good ball pressure prevented the stall, though our captain 'Ravavger Fruk' paid the inevitable price for the amount of sheer 'being hit' i had to let the CDB's do and retired with honours having lofted the cup, my decnt Bull also took a -av hit in the final turns to match the niggle he had picked up pre game on his 76spp roll. I hope he enjoys his retirement.
