The way to recovery seems long and harsh for these little buggers, but they'll make it for sure.

This game was jinxed from the beginning and after we got the first pass intercepted which reminded of the last couple of games for their brother team "Rats of Turmoil", coach went into one of his classic black rants. Now you're all thinking that the coach seems to be a bastard, and you might be right, but the opponent was friendly and sportsmanlike all through the game.

Was it a clean 3-1 victory? Hard to say. The one TD we made was one of the crazier plays we did, while the more sane plays just went down the drain. As coach i demanded "Lepper the Leaper" (WD) and "Runnin A. Round" (Catcher) to pick up and guard the ball. Tiny Linus was luring in the middle upper half of the opponents part of the field, but close enough for TD. Linus was just guarded by one ugly little lineman, and that shouldn't be a problem even for a rookie. So Linus gets into the End Zone without any problems, and then Lepper runs up and takes care of the blitz. After that Runnin A. Round runs up to the scrimmage and throws the ball like a pro in his second game (of course he's been training with Hit 'em High Flinger (who's wise beyond his years). In the End Zone Linus is so nervous and sweaty that he fumbles the ball, the crowd is silent, the only thing you hear is the coach yelling: "We all believe in you!!!" (read: RR) Linus gets his A-game on and catches that ball like he's never catched before. Brilliant start for this youngster!

In the end after a lot of failing things easy doding would have saved face and secured a 2-3 result, but nuffle the bastard didn't wanna have any of that.

Thanks to my opponent for not getting to bored with a game with very few WEs on the pitch, and for being a perfect sportsman. Rematch anytime!!!

Eggon looked to the sky expecting it to fall at any moment. For the second straight game his team had great fortune and secured victory against a fearsome opponent. Knowing that bad luck must soon follow, Eggon cancelled practice and spent the day praying to Nuffle.

- I thought I was in for a long game of watching his WDs dance past by me and score, but luckily that didn't happen. An early interception (2 int in 2 games? what?) was a sign of things to come. My opponent rolled quite a few ones and I rolled pretty great. Chalk up another one to dumb luck.

Despite his terrible rolling downbeat was a great opponent. I'm up for a rematch anytime.
