“You know . . . occasionally you just play one of those coaches that sucks the energy and fun out of the entire game. That was the longest hour and something of my life. Dominik whined about my streak of luck with my Ogres' Bonehead rolls, started fouling to take out my gobs, stalled his TD, and then whined when I started fouling back to encourage him to score (there was no way to reach the ball carrier with any of my players and he was going to target the gobs again with blocks and fouls).

Now, first . . . anyone who has played me knows I don't complain when I'm losing. I might bitch about rotten dice rolls, but I don't blame the opposing coach. Secondly, I don't foul unless it's essential for the TD that round or the next or unless I'm provoked.

Maybe it was a personality clash or maybe I'm just too damn tired, but that was a downright unpleasant experience. I'll give him his due, he coached a good game and mentally took me out of mine, so I'll give him props for the win. Enjoy it, D. You'll never get another from me.
