“Team Piston and Coach Maul turned out on a sunny Sunday Afternoon for a lovely bit of Bloodbowl against some elves. And lovely it was. Bucking the trend of Coach Mauls teams, the Dwarves seem to be the only ones able to break armor while not getting broken in return.

The game started of poorly for coach Baughman, as the Pistons Blitzed and were able to get new Runner Animaniac in a possition to make a miraculous interception on the next turn. From there on in they trundled up the field while reguarly giving an elf or two a chance to take a break in the KO dugout.

The Toledos hit back swiftly though just before the break with a valiant 2 turn TD, from a massive long bomb thrown from from their own side of the half.

The second half and the Pistons were receiving. They made quite good pace up the field dispite a few problems picking up the ball and Animaniac ran in another TD in what was a blockbuster performance. The elven numbers where starting to thin out too.

Up 2- 1 the elves could only manage 5 players on the field, one of whome promptly knocked himself out while dodging on the first turn back. From there it was just a matter of the Pistons containing the threat while putting a little pressure on the ball carrier who was deep within his own half. There was a small scare towards the end when another long bomb found its target but that elf was quickly overwhelmed by dwarven numbers and the ball retrieved. A pass was attempted but sadly it didnt reach its target and the game was over.

The fanbase was strengthened this game if not enlarged, but the winnings enabled Coach Maul to buy his first Trollslayer; Vendetti.
