“hmmm, somewhat reflective of what a real BloodBowl match might be like... if you sat the coaches next to each other. Substitute the word luck with any random swear word each time it was said and you get a real atmosphere. First half was elves subtley time stalling for defence adn turn 7 or 8 to come, even though recieving the ball. Potting it away after taking out the Dirtier looking player of the Norsemen to the eagerly awaiting elf fans... he got KO'd hard and was left in the dug out all game, must have met an angry dryad pack.
2nd Half was a bit more of a brawl fest, all in big hitter low armour running street fight. Multiple people were kicked in the face when down, but the carnage was too frenetic and no one seemed to get finished off that badly. Well a Norseman might have Post Traumatic Stress Syndrom when a treeman tried to root to the ground through his chest.
The Norse covered the ball and struck back hard when given oppurtunity, whilst the Wood Elves picked up on teh slacking Norse and took occasional pot shots at the ball.
Norsemen Mince Ur Quota Vikings took a draw home with well developed ball holding skills, which cant be said is bad, after all, they were facing a team that's had a few more games under their belt and are a bit heartier then the average Elf. Well played, on both teams, though I have to say the fans favourite highlight must be when 2 norsemen were feed to them in the first half. Sent them crazy and the unfortunate beer swillers felt that enthusiasm!. ”
