“I would recommend that no one play Marx, his faction orcs found their 3rd game with a 3rd elf team. First turn and a rip for a line elf on the los. Followed by 8 turns devoid of any ingenuity or any real progress. The cage rumbled forward 1-2 squares per turn and fell well short of the endzone requiring a blitzer attempting to dodge through tackle zones for the score that never came. The elf offense in the second half was equally inept but reduced to 8 at the start and 5 by the end, nothing opened up. The orcs bizarrely covered downfield elves with 3-4 bodies but failed to pressure the backfield thrower. This allowed the elves to form a sideline cage on the last turn as they had no chance to score. The orcs fouled for the first time in the very last turn of the game, niggling a lion warrior. He then proceeded to do the sensible thing, dodging into 2 tz's and powing the dragon warrior on a 1 dice block. Then, he complains that he gets a bad scatter. Honestly.
In summary: Inept offense from the orcs and the underelfed elves and a turn 8 fouler. If you're gonna foul, do it, but do it early when there's a purpose. Like helping you win the game......


Edit: Marx has indeed apologised. Thanks for that. I appreciate it, you can understand my frustration though. Losing one player is ok, losing two, one with a turn 8 foul just makes this game a step backward in team development. Maybe i'll play you again someday ; )”
