#7 Pylon – Dead (RIP)
#15 Plupp – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#15 Plupp – Smashed Knee (NI)
Had 10 Norse available to play, but decided to challenge the full might of an Orc team anyway. Sometimes it's great fun, sometimes it's not, this time I picked the wrong coach.

Apoth gone, player Niggled he fouls my Mino ... fair enough, BG's get fouled. Second half however, Blitzer dies and my opponent does 'Cheer'.

Sometimes it's fun, other times you wish you hadn't bothered. Norse outnumbered against Orcs will always be a tough fight, without the other player seemingly out to kill the remnants of a team already against the grain.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edit: I see my opponent has resorted to 'name-calling' in the opening line of his match report, which in itself should demonstrate the maturity levels that made the game less than fun.

As for the word 'panzy' ... it is not one I would tend to associate to the coach of a 10 player AV7 team who challenges Orc, but then perhaps the meaning has changed, as I don't think I have used the word since I was about 10 ...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is more interesting reading these comments, than it was playing the dire game.

Players die, I even sacrafice them sometimes for the win ... I have had teams killed down to 7 players and less and rebuilt, they are just pixels and come and go ... the attitude the other coach takes however will tend to remain.

Also, I have only been playing 24 years, 500+ games on the board and 900+ games on fumbbl, but I look forward to one day becoming a 'veteran'!

Hah, seems my opposing coach is a panzy, his fans where booing my every move, my team desperatly needed some cheering =P

As for us fluffies being out to kill his team... Seriously, any fool that checks the replay would disagree. Perhaps tabletop tennis or stripchess is a more fitting sport for this coach. 7av players... If I wanted to destroy his team intentionally, you'd see way more fouls on this match info =P

Still, my opponent played well, 1-1 against all odds, gg ;)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edt: Pfft, it was a normal game like any other, but my opponent elected to paint me off as a "teamkiller" after I cheered for my own team after a barrage of booing from the audience. Again, I played fluffy, the death was just a fluke of the dice, not something he can blame me for and the fact he is trying to makes me consider him a "panzy" =P

My tactic was to try and score touchdowns anyone who watches the replay can see that, my opponent played well, his whinefest comments are uncalled for.

If my opponent reacts this way everytime one of his players dies, then veteran bloodbowl players know he's in for the ride of his life. =P

Reporter::: Your opponent calls it a "dire game" what say you?

Coach Greyb::: It seem that coach is becomming dellusional, if you watched the game you saw both teams going for the ball and the game was actually pretty soft, only 1 foul from both sides, not worthy of the name "bloodbowl" in my opinion. I wouldn't call any game that resulted in a tie a "dire game" and to ensure my opponents fun and providing us with a challenge, I didn't choose for the classic "Box and stall" tactic.

Reporter::: Yes, your opponent managed to turn the game into a tie with less players and against orcs, which suggests the orcs where being lazy.

Coach Greyb::: Well I told my team to be gentle, which is why I'm postponing teaching my boys the art of landing a mighty blow, well safe for NOT FLUFFY! ofcourse since Trolls are born with a numbskull ability to not hold back punches, anyhows, the only real prime target was my opponents minotaur.

Reporter::: So why is your opponent throwing a hissyfit? That you where out to kill his team? After watching the replay, I certainly expected more fouls, the classic "box n stall" tactics, handing them over to the crowd, the game was actually rather dissapointing untill "Longeared Rabbit" managed to land a killing blow.

Coach Greyb::: Hehe, yes, well it all boiled down to my opponent believing he turned into an amazing psychologist with the uncanny ability to analyze my thoughtprocesses and concluded that a /cheer on a death meant I was out to get him. Paranoia 101 if you ask me.

Reporter::: And you stated before that you /cheered because your team needed some cheering after a barrage of /booing from the crowd?

Coach Greyb::: That's correct.

Reporter::: Oooookay... But then you turned into "an amazing psychologist with the uncanny ability to analyze HIS thoughtprocesses" and called him a "panzy" and suggested your opponent was a noob... Though your opponent appears to have no life and 24 years of Bloodbowl experience, what have you to say on that?

Coach Greyb::: If it quaks like a duck...

Reporter::: Riiight... Ok thanks for this interview, I'm sure our viewers enjoyed this rather... silly fuss over nothing and I will be asking a raise from the network for sending me to crap interviews like this one!

Coach Greyb::: Right... NOT FLUFFY! there's a testdummy, go practise holding back your blows!

Reporter::: What huh?!?! No AAAARRGGGHHH *thunk* ........
