“Was this a game to remember. It had everything. Touchdowns, deaths, injuries, fouls, completions, Big Guys, blood lusting Vampires, good luck, bad luck, and more blood. This game was quite a match and the Bite managed to pull out a tie on the last turn to secure 17 points for the Blitz Invitational.

It all started way before the first whistle. Coach oblitzamanger needed to fill out a new game form. His old 8.5 form was no longer valid and all his teams had taken a three week vacation with him. So he found out that in order to play, he needed to fill out the new 8.6 form. After a couple tries, the paperwork passed with help from coach soerenkepler. That meant the game could begin!

The Bite was facing a good opponent. With a Storm Vermin getting a pair of Knuckledusters and with Petrandus challenging captain vampire Domantrius that he was the greatest, it looked like it would be an uphill battle. The Bite recieved and formed a cage around their captain near the LoS.

However, the cage was easily broken and Tykke Raat, a gutter runner, swept in and scored an easy touchdown with no stalling. 1 - 0 Snack Rat Wannabees

So the Bite went into distress mode and executed a desperate play. Cobrandex, the only other Vampire, got the ball and passed it to Domantrius who had Jumped up from a vicious block by the Rat Ogre and ran into the endzone. It was an amazing pass play and perhaps the first the Bite had ever pulled off.

But it was the untimely death of Hurtig Raat that marred this glorious moment. However, Westurlan, the deliverer of his fate, was able to learn a new skill afterwards because of it.

Somehow, the Bite prevented a score and held out for the second half. 1 - 1

The Skaven put away a great touchdown and the Bite was powerless to stop it. 2 - 1

But once again the Bite tried a pass play, only this time with some kinks. The ball was kicked right next to the LoS and the Bite had to secure it, only for Cobrandex to drop it. The Skaven quickly rushed in, but the thralls were too numerous and their Rat Ogre too wild. Domantrius ran for it and eventually, after some dice raping for soerenkepler, he caught the pass from Cobrandex and scored on the last turn, but not after the Rat Ogre badly hurt himself on a GFI.

So the game ended up 2 - 2. It was lucky that the Bite tied, but Nuffle had some luck stored up for coach Oblitzamanger while he was away on his trip. The team did very well as a whole and their offense today was great, a promising feat for the future.

They got three new skills. Domantrius got Piling On, which, coupled with his Jump Up, should be devastating. Westurlan learned how to better kick the ball on kickoffs. And finally, Lothromentes became more agile, the first ever player on fumbbl for coach Oblitzamanger to have it. He was getting worried that he could no longer train players to become more agile. And now with 130k, he bought a new Vampire, Neogretanor, leaving 20k for future thralls.

We got a statement from coach oblitzamanger after the game. he said, "I want to sincerely thank coach soerenkepler for the match. I know he got frustrated at the end when the luck went sour, but he was a good sport through and through. Thanks. A re-match anytime.

"I was very proud of the team. There were no serious injuries and three skills as well as good money. The team really developed well and actually has a chance of not being so horrible in the Blitz Invitationals. Overall, I am a very happy coach right now."

He then ran off to make a great sacrifice to Nuffle. Remember that dead rat? Well, let's just say the body was put to good use...

After the sacrifice, we met up with the captain. Domantrius, who scored both touchdowns, said, wiping the blood off his mouth, "I can score; Cobrandex can pass; the thralls can actually play. The other teams better watch out now. We aren't pushovers anymore."

That is it for this reporter. The Bite is looking strong and blood hungry. Encouraged by the new blood decals on the pitch, which this game saw a lot of, the team is definately back in action.”
