Unfortunate business, this. This match was brutal. The luck lies, mine was far the better (except at the last turn of the match with a skull re-roll skull ending in a tie).

First few turns the dwarves were tearing through the Fighting Fists armour like it was swiss cheese, pounding and injurying everyone. End of first half only 4 or 5 orcs left on the field. Oh almost forgot, Thurun threw the ball to the ogre and Kinslayer got the TD!

However, at the start of the second half the fans decided that an ogre catching and scoring a TD was just not right, and promptly threw a rock at him and he was Badly Hurt. Things quickly looked grim and the Fighting Fists jumped on the opportunity and got into a good offensive position, and later nearly scored, save for a desperate 1 dice block that allowed me to delay the inevitable.

Sadly two good line orcs died in the match. Both had Block/Tackle. The dice were just evil all game, out of respect for the fallen the dwarves stopped piling on in shame (no PO was used on either death though). This mercy later led to our downfall, with the last crucial failure in the game. Oh well, Fighting Fists earned the tie.

Mr_Prezident never gave up and fought to the bitter end. Very good coach and I respect him for staying in there and giving it his all, despite the horrible things that happened. Again, sorry for the deaths, I feel bad about those.

#11 Dogak – Dead (RIP)
#13 Gizi – Dead (RIP)
A very hard game, with the orcs bearing the brunt. The first half the Dwarves simply didn't look back and ran the orcs ragged, by half time there were only 4 or 5 orcs left (all incidently staring intensely at the grass). So the Dwarves had time to show off and and go for a snazzy pass to the Ogre, who not only only caught it but went on to score. Never a Bone-Head when you want one.
The 3 turns left of the first half were not enough for a seriously weakened team to counter strike and score. HT 1-0 down.

Second half got off to a good start with all my Blitzers coming back to the foray and to top it off, a steely-eyed orc cracked Kinslayers 'nut' with a brick! and down goes the ogre...hooray!

The drive got off to a good start and a good defensive position going down the wing, however the dwarves god of luck reared his head again and they managed a 1 block die blitz, freeing the ball. There followed a turn or two of scrappy play until the dwarves managed to get the ball and pass the ball to the opposite wing, unfortunately for the orcs the receiver failed to catch the ball. The orcs managed to react to this threat and got players back and eventually getting the ball and finally across the endzone to score. 1-1 with 3 turns left to play.

The dwarves pushed hard and went for a similar drive down the wing with a possible feint down the opposite. the orc defensive was a bit sparse to say the least. However they managed to get the players marked off ensuring the dwarves couldn't just walk in for the TD. Thankfully mork or gork finally woke up and smiled as the best and only bit of luck that shone the orcs way was the dwarves final block...double skulls and the orcs had held on to a memorable draw.

Aequitas played well and I definitely look forward to a rematch one day, though I'll be sure to make certain the orcs locker room is kept locked. As I'm sure some crafty Dwarf got in and swapped my boys body armour for cardboard :)
