The Crush took to the pitch in a perfect example of an Orc match. Both sides bashed and fought hard as they recieved a fairly fair result. the Crush earned only 8 points for this tie towards the Blitz Invitational.

The first half started with the Crush recieving. Fighting a very well placed defense, the Crush had an uphill battle. But they managed to get Jurtive, their catching goblin, up the field and after a huge scramble fight, Fuggap, the team's experienced thrower, lobbed the ball, only to miss his target as the replay shows. But, the ball bounced the right way and Jurtive managed to catch it, somehow, in the endzone. 1 - 0 for the Crush.

But the sweltering heat got to many of the players as they went 9 vs. 9 on the next drive. My Crew exploited a weak side spot in the defense and ran away with it after a few close calls. 1 - 1

With no troll to hurl a gobbo in the dying moments of the half, a touchdown was lost going into halftime. 1 - 1

The weather became nicer and both teams were gearing to play. But after an uncanny tactical mistake by coach Delmont, the ball was popped loose and several times, it seemed as if either team was going to scrape it out. but alas, at the end of the day, it was the Crush that rescued the ball, only to be stopped by a troll. The ballcarrier threw it hurriedly to Ponky, the Side Stepping goblin, but missed his mark. But after a turn, Ponky picked it up and sprinted for a sure win towards the endzone only to have one final block send him flying to the KOed box. It was a crazy drive, but alas, nothing happened the entire second half. 1 - 1

Kabbash, a Black Orc Blocker, recieved the MVP and became coach Oblitzamanger's second player to get an agility increase. But other than that, the game produced little as the money was just too little to buy another Blitzer.

We got this statement from coach Oblitzamanger after the game: "I want to thank coach Delmont for an enjoyable game. I took a longer time than normal to complete my turns but Delmont was a good sport about it, as he was everything else. I thought he did a good job and would like to play him again. We are very even coaches and we played with very even teams, so this result is not surprising. Once again, thanks."

So the Greenfield Crush will gear up to play again and chase that elusive Championship for this round of the Blitz Invitational.
