“A more than satisfactory game this one. Both teams understrength.. the key was obviously to keep my eye on the few skinks poor faulcon had left, oh and try and hurt them. Was dissapointed to be missing Cation for this one. Tackle mighty blow would have come in handy methinks.

First play didnt go perfectly. Caprishan fumbled the pick up. Was able to recover though and Talaban Ko'd Xies on his way to a TD. Then I jagged a blitz and Faulcon was always under pressure. The skinks did get the ball back.. but after a bit of a melee.. including Touchstone fracturing his skull dodging (apothed in disgust), caprishan emerged with the ball and connected with new boy Jiang. The next drive was just as bad for the skinks... the 3 strength Thndwdaieeu damaging his back in a big block by Caprishan.. the apoth failing miserably. Thoughts of curses Im sure entered my opponents mind. A bit of ball ignoring happened and some crowd pushes thinned the echoes lineup. Before the unheralded (compared with his team mates) Pssqghuiay sauntered in for a td. Was a comeback on the cards?
Halftime 2-1 Echoes

Xies failed the pickup.. and the comeback looked a long way off. Both Echoes catchers piled on the pressure but to xies credit he managed to steal away with the ball next turn, though he did find himself rather isolated. He was stripped of possession but was able to win it back.. and headed deep into the echoes half.. with no one in front of him. Talaban scrambled and stripped the ball again.. which thankfully fell into his arms, before dodging away from a diving tackle that left xies sprawling on the ground. Caprishan knocked out the great skink for the second time in the match with a well aimed foul. With Ckndtckaiouei unable to bring Talaban down it was a simple process for him to hand off to Caprishan who headed upfield connecting with Jiang who made it two TDs for the day. A bad kick gave the skinks a chance at a quick reply as the touchback was given to Ckndtckaiouei, who headed upfield with support. sadly for the skinks fans they were overwhelmed on the kickoff by Echoes fans who sensing blood.. proceeded to beat the snot out of the poor ref. He was running scared for the rest of the game. As you can imagine after Talaban proceeded to do what he does and bring the pesky skink to ground, before Jiang layed the boot in and knocked the poor little guy out. The Saurus finally got involved Rthsy badly hurting Caprishan, before pssqghuiay dashed away with the ball... but sadly failed his go for it and concussed himself leaving the skinks even shorter next game. Touchstone and Jiang then combined catcher style to seal the game. we had won.. 4-1 even...and unscathed as well... joy oh joy. Bad luck Faulcon better luck next time. I hope to meet you when we both have stronger teams. Good luck surviving the foul war that seems to be waged against you.
Too good to be true.. Caprishan Niggled on first aging roll. The team is 11 strong for next game but contains 4 nigglers.. all aging related..without the funds to turnover anyone.. alas.
