“"Well," Johann said to Gunnar, the teamcaptain. "Why did we lose that game?"
"Erh," Gunnar said. "We didn't lose. It was a draw."
"If we play against 5 pale elves, and draws, that is as bad as a loss!"
Gunnar thought for a while.
"Perhaps it was the heat. Some of us couldn't take the heat. And with no water we got exhausted."
Johann gave him an angry stare.
"I really don't want to hear more. You shouldn't whine. You have all that protective gear on. That blocks the sun. Me on the other hand only had a slight tunic and brandy to cool me down."
"But..." Gunnar began, quickly realizing that there was no point in arguing.
"So, next game I want to see a win. If I don't complain about the heat, neither should you."
Johann got up from the chair, where the sweat had painted his silhouette. He staggered towards the cool cellar where he kept his beloved brandy.
