“The Greenfield Crush took to the pitch again, this time versus another Orc team. Each team had it's good half and the Crush failed to score in theirs, therefore giving them a loss. But the scoreline does not reflect the effort of either team. The winnings for the Crush hurt too, but they did manage to get a skill out of the game as well as only 3 measly points towards the Blitz Invitationals. With the 10k they earned though, they were able to buy a new Blitzer for the team, Mabungle, and retire their slower lineorc, Kimi, who became an assitant coach.

The game started with Brutal Instinct 2006 recieving. But the Crush had greater hitting power (and a ton of luck) and were able to prevent the ball from passing the line of scrimage. Somehow, Ponky, a little goblin, got the ball and made a break for the endzone, but was stopped dead, destroying the Crush's chances of scoring that half. 0 - 0 Halftime.

The Crush was determined not to make the same mistake. Of course, the cage was not able to pass the line of scrimage, so the Crush tried to pass it to a goblin downfield, but he failed to catch it. There were not enough players in the area for the Crush to recover and Brutal Instinct 2006 was able to secure the ball for a turn 16 touchdown.

The game was amazing and very fun although it was a pure bash fest. Most of the fighting took place right on the line of scrimage and there was a lot of blood there, although there was only one permament injury caused which was cured by the apothecary.

We got a statement from coach Oblitzamanger after the game and after his sacrifice to Nuffle, which was quite a show. He said, "Even with the poor money, I got enough to buy what I wanted. And no permament injuries means we can play another day. I had to retire Kimi to keep the team's TR below 50, but their TS increased, so I consider it good coaching.

"There was a lot more good coaching tonight as coach ABS did phenominal with his team. I am surprised that a coach with all his players having the name of beers was able to keep his head on strait! I give a lot of props to him and want to thank him whole heartedly for a great game. He is a true sport."

Even though the team only got 3 points towards the Blitz Invitational, they are looking very strong and won't be easy to beat, no matter who they play against. They have just three more games until they vie again for the Championship of the Blitz Invitational.”
