“Tough game for my opponent. Although the luck meter says it was about even, that certainly wasn't the case as he failed just about every key roll while I made everything I needed. He'd get knockdowns with his MB blitzers on my MB blitzers, but couldn't break their armor. Two fouls - the 2nd with 4 assists - only managed to get his dirty player ejected. And most importantly, he burned a reroll picking up the ball and then failed the only gfi he needed to tie up the match...and of course the ball bounced out of bounds and to where I could safely secure it.

Looking back, I made quite a few mistakes with placement (leaving my blitzers in position to get hit, not going 2-deep along the sideline for his scoring attempt, etc...) and the dice just didn't punish me for it. On the other hand, my opponent played well and just couldn't get knockdowns at the right times and the dice just didn't want to take any of my players off the pitch for him. Still, he took a tough loss without any complaining.
