“A lucky win if ever there was one. The evil vampires were in trouble from the start with Lord Zambar out of the match with a virus. Without his solid leadership the vampires floundered around with no real direction.
A crazy long distance passing play gave the vampires the first score. The orcs were able to knock around some thralls, but a failed pick-up gave the vampires a chance to go up 2-0. Prince Listor got behind enemy lines and picked up the ball inches from the goal line. The orc thrower, seeing that no help was in sight, took it upon himself to the vampire and knocked 'The Prince' down with a blitz all by his lonesome. The next turn the vampire was looking for revenge and blitzed the thrower back, picked up the ball and danced to the end zone, only to fall over and knock himself out when he ran a bit too far. The orcs recovered the ball, threw a long pass and scored to even up the match.
The second half was a see-saw battle as each side took turns carrying and trying to protect the ball. As the end was closing the orcs had the ball deep in the vampire zone. Baron Jade got lucky, blitzing the ball carrier and picking up the ball. He somehow survived the ensuing onslaught and threw a pass to Duke Thorn who was able to score in the very last turn.
Overall a very exciting match against a cool coach. Rematch any time.”
