“Interesting game. Pre game I get very lucky. Virus and his claw & rsc and +AG players are out. I win the coin toss and decide to receive. Then first kickoff... Bam. Get the ref for me. With 2 DP's on the pitch, this looks like an easy victory. I block some CW's and then foul one - stun. Next foul - stun. Stun. Stun stun. Lovely. I only managed to do 1 BH while he BH's 2 of my players in rapid succession.

I still manage to bring my ballcarrier (0spp blitzer) into his half easily because he's off gangfouling my troll. Then I'm bringing a bob to assist me on an another foul, and he fails the GFI because of blitzzard. My own fault, because I didn't move the ballcarrier first. He then decides (dunno why, 2d blitz with a beastman too) to blitz with his mino, 3d tho, and pows - BH. I'm getting really pissed off now, because his fouls have worked and he has cassed me from blocks, while I've only managed one foul BH and 2 KO's with mighty blow or so. I get the ball with an other player tho (luckily), and when he gets knocked down, an other player of mine catches the ball. I manage to score doing 3 KO on him, while I have suffered 4 BH and 1 KO (another BH from the mino).

Turn 8/7, his turn to foul me (after I foul his CW, doing nothing useful. DP + assists on fouling is overrated). He blocks my players down on the los, and fouls my bob to KO, getting caught. It's his 5th foul this half (all without eye) so it's about time, but guess what? He argues it.

He got total of 2/3 players out of KO (both from the first roll), while my players (first 1 then 2) all stayed. I start second half with 6 players while he has 9. Looks like he's gonna get a very easy 2 - 1 win. He again fouls me, but this time his DP is caught and arguing fails. I try to move players into position where I can harass the ballcarrier, but he blitzes my blitzer with his mino, stunning (mino's total blitzes: 5, total armor breaks on av 9: 5, casulties of those: 2). I get beaten helplessly because he has more strength AND more players, until I see that he leaves his ballcarrier open for 2d blitz with only 2x 3+. I make those and knock down his ballcarrier, scattering the ball next to the sideline.

I even manage to dodge my 43spp +MA block kick lino (not that good tbh) to the sideline where the ball is, doing 2 4+ dodges while I'm at it. Sadly the 4+ pickup failed ;) . The ball scatters VERY well for me, deep into his half. He then pushes my lino into the crowd, but just stun. But that proved to be a BAD mistake, when I push him into the crowd with -2d and the mino niggles, the only permanent cas in the game. Well, you pushed when you didn't need to, so suffer the consequences.

I manage to dodge my DP near his ball, even GFI'ng twice in the blizzard. He blitzes me tho, and brings me down, but fails the pickup. We struggle for the ball, and I even manage to grab it with a blitzer, but sadly fail the last 3+ dodge (with a reroll) to score for the second time.

Bottom line: He had crazy luck in the first half, I had crazy luck in the second half. But he could have easily won the game if he wouldn't have played so carelessly. The mino was the star of the game, 5 blitzes, didn't fail WA in any of them, broke armor every time, cassed twice. I'm glad I managed to niggle him.

Too bad I didn't manage to skill up my rookie blitzer, but last time I did that he aged on first skill. So meh.”
