“Argh. After a classic first half, with both ghouls and the werewolf off the pitch, we couldn't even pick up the ball with a 10-8 setup. Even playing defensive, we could do no good. In fact, let me make this clear: this team slumped so bad in the second half, we literally failed every important roll. Every one. No pickups, no gfi, no dodges, nothing. After basically giving the ball away, the opposing team put together a brilliant blitz and got the ball right off the bat, scoring again while we fumbled and slipped over our own feet.
After going down 1-2, a quick snap opened the door to a possible push play. All the pushes went fine. then a little blitz to clear a player from the path of the receiver, and well, you guessed it. Double skulls ended the half for us, and sealed the game at 1-2.
What should have been an easy victory after that first half turned into an embarrassment of screwups. Back to the chalkboard for these guys, and not looking forward to the season coming.”
