“Nuffle has a sense of humor indeed. He allowed the cd's, w/o MB anywhere, to absolutely hammer us. Not included in that cas tally was the MNG via thrown rock to a lino and the niggle via failed dodge to a lino. (Also not shown is the niggle to Mighty Zug via foul...) And yet, somehow someway, we stole the ball and scored, and then raced around the edge and blitz/dodged our way to a second score. The crowd was so enthusiastic they held the game up an extra turn, leaving the cd's not enough time to score twice in return.

It's been an interesting run in the NWL, and I must admit I'm still unsure if I truly want to quit the league or not. The team's completely hammered, so if I stay on it'll likely be with another team entirely. But this band of misfits played well for me, going 10-0-3 record. Twice losses to Celas' insane woodelves, and once to a skaven team when I was missing my best blitzer. And the truly unfortunate part? Despite going 5-0-2 in this season and being guaranteed a share of the points lead, I can't win the division...the match between Celas and Mully will leave the victor also with 27 points, and since I lost to both this season, they get the tiebreak. Talk about a pisser...we busted our butts vs those cd's, for absolutely no benefit. (There technically is a chance, if those two end the match a draw, but the odds of that happening...)
