“Episode 20 - GLTII Qualifier - Second Game


After winning there games against the skavens, it was waiting for who would win in a clash between Orcs and Undead. I was hoping for the orcs to win... the chances of beating them were just a bit more reasonable. (no offends)

The orcs made it, and the game was on.
We started by hiring Ramtut III ... it was time for some help, he should fill in the place for the flesh gollem just fine.
The orcs started as the receiving team. In the first drive, our heroes couldnt manage to do much damadge, and the orcs scored a well deserved TD. They did make it tence for a moment, by failing a sprint for the endzone. But poor positioning from our heroes didnt make it possible for a wolf to trow the ball away.

Second drive starts, 4 turns to score a TD.
We made the same play we always do... and the DP's and claw/MB wolves started to pay off. Soon the orcs had lots of KO's and even a BH.
From that moment on the orcs where overrun. They had some chances to stop the wolf from scoring, but it failed by failing a GFI.

The second half was all for our heroes. Altough all the KO's came back.
Bad dice for the opponent / lots of casualties and KO results and NO pows on the blodging ball cariers, GFI fails, and so on...
Our heroes waited till the last minutes, tangeling the orcs in a wave of brainless zombies.
2-1 at the end... Our heroes go to the finals.
