“it was a tough match, the skaven used thier insidous diseases to lay low my best three players before the match even started! then on turn one, the mighty rat ogre BHed a lineman. all seemd lost. the entire first half disaster after disaster, (blitzing skaven, unable to pick up or throw the ball) mad teh game 3-0 in a hurry.
The second half went slightly better, i had a few (albiet long shot) opportunities to score but the sheerr number of vermin made it nigh impossible.
Big ups to Craig for showing the patented bravery marked by tyhe marauder's lienmen of old, and crushing the rat ogres skull with a well place block. (double powskulls). also to teh back up Catcher Nelson for crippeling one of those pesky gutterrunners, even though it was too little too late to save the game, teh resulting CAS helped raise out FF another level.
Thanks to Mindwar for a tough match, and now that the Marauders have bought two more players, out reconstrucvtion is nearly complete! soon we will be back to our aspired form of a full Norse crew and ready to bash away again!

But then in the last three turns disaster strikes. Craig Willhelm calmly marches up to the Rat Ogres, does a 2 dice block (against Craig), knocks over and KILLS the RO. Second later, the gutter runner gets smashes and effectively forced into retirement (-1ST). Both players were brand new so at least no painful emotional damage (but a 220k financial damage nevertheless :) ). Worse, half the SPP gained in the game go with the casualties...
