“This was a game where little went wrong for me. Suryet was killed in Toonies first turn (2nd of game) and I was worried when I Apothed that early, But after skipping away to a bit of a lead, while both of us were injury.. or in my case niggle ravaged, I was able to pull it out quite comfortably as Toonie ignored any real plays and attempted to get spps on certain players. This I think Nuffle knew, denying Toonie even this, while allowing me to get on top score wise and then reel of some spectacular blocks. Touchstone was on fire.. no doubt spurred on by the death of his wife (saved by apoth), with 3 casualties from 3 blocks, and only a failed GFI denying him a 3rd touchdown as well. At different stages I was grossly undermanned.. but always had the right players in the right positions to retrieve the ball and set up my own reply td's. Toonie even got the ref.. and what with my apoth used I feared for my team in the second half... but rarely was there a good opportunity to foul, I only copped 1 all game :). Oh and Toonie's luck was shite too, he did fail some very simple moves through no fault of his own.
Twahnlows:
3 Votes to #4 Gnor Bjordsen - A mighty first up block to kill Suryet should have been the beacon fire for his team to follow up on, kept trying all day, causing another casualty later in the match.
2 Votes to #8 Mikael Njordstrom - Sadly there were few other performances of note for the Asgardians.. this norseman picked up his first casualty in this game.
1 Vote to #10 Deadly Taurus - Got the MVP so someone liked his work. Played much better than his last match up against the Echoes where he just roared alot. Still didnt accomplish much Im afraid.”
