As for the match, the Freaks started with showing us just how fast a werewolf can be, scoring on us quite easily after just three turns.
After that, they put a stop to our patented offence, stole the ball and scored again. Nice first half by them, not so good by us.

Things looked bleak indeed as we recieved in the second half. We changed tactics, going around the Flesh Golems rather then (failing to) go through them. This worked wonders, and after three quarters of the match had been played, Serket the Keeper scored for the Cults.

We now had but four turns to get the ball from the Necros, switch to offence and then score. The Freaks Inc then performed an over optimistic offence, that ended with them dropping the ball right before our very feet. A few blocks later, all that was requiered was a dodge from Serket and he would be of to the races with no one to stop him.

But the ball ended up just where we wanted it. Raneb got a chance to save the game for us, all he needed was to make a dodge.

As a final insult from Nuffle, the Necros dodged around a bit, got the ball and scored again. Heck, they even had a zombie that dodged better than our Ghouls.

I suppose our undefeated streak had to end sometimes.”
