The Graveyard Gnash had a good recovery game versus the Stench Mongers after the loss of one of their Werewolves. They managed to pull out a draw and 10 points for the Blitz Invitational, even after Wight Sollong was unable to play due to that niggling injury in his upper back from age which he recently picked up, as well as three new skills.

The Gnash sliced right through the Mongers in the first half due to astounding luck, and a lack of re-rolls on the Rotters' side. Somehow, Wight Spitebade ended up with the ball and rushed through the lines right to the endzone. The team easily stalled until the half was over and Spitebade scored, earning him a new skill after the game. 1 - 0 Graveyard Gnash

Things didn't go so well in the second half though. A good kick led to the Gnash being out of position and a desperate throw was made and only a little off mark. However, the Mongers swarmed in and ran away with it as they headed towards the LoS. But there were several Gnash players there to meet the ballcarrier as he was beaten up. After three turns of intense fighting with no re-rolls for either side, the Gnash came up with the ball as Werewolf Clawmide, who already inflicted a casualty to get a skill, ran away with it. With two turns to go, the Mongers smashed him hard and the ball popped free. That was where the amazing luck from Nuffle started. A Beastman picked it up and chucked it to another Beastman who was in two tackle zones avoiding the interception. As the Gnash surrounded him, but was unable to block him as he repulsed the blocks with his foul appearance, a chain push enabled him to dodge twice, onc einto two tackle zones, and go for it twice to score the Nuffle granted touchdown. Nuffle must have had pity for the team since he had given so much luck to the Gnash in the first half. 1 - 1

After the game, Flesh Golem Fungal got the MVP and also learned a new skill. He leanred block, Werewolf Clawmide became a blodger with dodge, and Wight Sollong increased his agility. With the money, coach Oblitzamanger was able to buy the replacement Werewolf, Skealcid. The team now looks very good and actually stands a chance at winning the Blitz Invitational.

Coach Oblitzamanger said this after the game. "I am very happy with today's result in every way. They did well and didn't get any injuries at all while getting three huge skills."

"I want to thank coach Turchi for the match and wish him well with his team. They played well and pulled off a tie with the hand of Nuffle after getting dice raped in the first half."

After that, he ran off to the center of the pitch to make a sacrifice to Nuffle. He wan't mad at Nuffle for robbing him of the win because He had already let so much go in favor for the Gnash that he had to let at least one string of dice go for the Mongers, and Oblitzamanger understood this. Thus, the ritual sacrifice was mostly silent prayer and reflection as the fans went home before it was over. Although this is not the usual way Oblitzamanger holds his sacrifices, he felt that this game had called for it.
