“The Gothem Geckos made a real horror of a debut. Most of the match (including the entire first half) was a stalemate struggle and the ball rarely left more than 2 squares from the middle line.

You would think that such a match would benifit a hard hitting team with 5 str 4 Sauruses and a str 5 Kroxigor, but they acted like mere skinks in disguise. The Geckos were wailed upon fiercly and the AV 9 Sauruses where knocked out by every punch.

The only goal in the game was made by the Bloody Death Herd simply walking through the gaps in the defensive line.

Luckily the team escaped with only one serious injury (poor little Tenqgoq was stomped by the minotaur and probably broke every bone in his back) and the winnings were just enough to scrape up a replacement skink.

Thanks to Tias DK for a match that despite horrible luck turned out to be really amusing. Would love to play a rematch sometime when I have forced my Sauruses to quit ballet class and focus on Blood Bowl ;)”
