“Good evening again, sports fans, and tonight featured the return of the Tasmanian Rangers to the Astroturf. Last round, if you recall, the Rangers we unfortunate to recieve a forfiet, and therein lose their chance to replenish their force before this match-up, but Skye's Tainted were also shot on numbers for this match, making the match-up for both teams a fairly even one.
Skye's Tainted were the first to score with a brilliant play during which Vestal Senior High threw a textbook pass. Unfortunately, our Camra's were busy watching a buxom fan in the crowds, and missed most of the first half of the game, returning to their proper duty just seconds before the close of the first half, just as David Foster broke free for a score, evening up the match.
In the second half of todays game saw some brilliant blood bowl skills on display. While Skye's Tainted clearly outmuscled the Tasmanian Rangers, with some clever foot work and tackling, the Tasmanian Rangers were able to eventually score twice more, sealing the match.
With three rounds left to be played, the Tasmanian Rangers are in a strong position in the SWL Mr Whippy's Emporium Regional League XV, with only one other team able to overtake them on points by the close of this round.
Following this recovery match, Skye's Tainted go on to face the King's Park Rangers, while the Tasmanian Rangers go on to face the Barbarians of Benns Bloody Brissy Berserkers. For this match, the coach of the Tasmanian Rangers has filled the space left with the tragic death of Truganini with yet another ex-cricket icon from Tasmania turned blood bowl player, Mr. Max Walker.
