The Jungle Slash continued their winning streak and made a large step forward towards defending their Blitz Invitational Championship by earning 18 points, 100k, and three new skills.

The Slash knew this would be a hard game because they had been outplayed by Orcs before. But that was a long time ago. They had new skills, new players, and they became Champions. So they lined up and fought like their mothers taught them to.

The Slash kicked off first. Amazon Linewoman Linday's kicking skills helped the Slash all game as her first kick sailed nicely into a deep corner. Orc Thrower Blue Orcoon back-tracked to get it as the front line was only able to push the Slash around. With some well placed blocks, the Slash out-flanked Drinker's Pride and rushed to hit Blue Orcoon. He never saw it coming. Amazon Thrower Patricia was so focused on getting the ball, she smashed right through him, badly hurting the poor Thrower, and got the ball, then went two spaces on go for its to get out of danger. After a failed attempt to stop her, she ran it in for a score. 1 - 0 Jungle Slash

Once again, a long kick and no Sure Hands or re-rolls resulted in Drinker's Pride dropping the ball deep. The Slash burst through the lines. Amazon Catcher Anastasia raced for the ball and badly hurt the Lineorc who had dropped it. As others screened her position, she picked up the ball on the last turn and scored just as halftime was called. Halftime: 2 - 0 Jungle Slash.

With the apothecary already being used on Linewoman kicker Linday for a niggling injury, the Slash lined up for offense. Their offense had never been good, especially against Orcs, so they knew they were in for a battle. As long as they prevented two scores though, they would win. But little did they know that they would actually score another one.

Both throwers surrounded the ball, but did not touch it as they were stalling for time in their backfield. The Slash tried to bust open the flanks but there were too many strong Orcs there. After Anastasia failed a dodge into the backfield, the Slash was in trouble since they had no scoring oportunities. But one opened itself up as the Slash seemed to be winning the fight on the near flank. Luckily, Amazon Thrower Jessica picked up the ball and handed it off to Amazon Catcher Molly. She then ran through the narrow gap created by the Blitzers. The others screened the Orcs from getting to her and she eventually ran down the pitch to score the team's third and final touchdown, and get herself enough SPPs to learn a skill after the game. 3 - 0 Jungle Slash

The last drive, Drinker's Pride did manage to secure the ball with a lot of Orcs around it, but a failed pass from Goblin Sunrise Spezial opened up the ball. The Slash dodged into the death trap and got a handle on it, only for them to get beaten up the next few turns. However, they did do a good enough job that the Orcs were unable to pick it up too, thus bringing the game to an end at 3 - 0.

The luck reaadings are wrong due to a re-load. Luck was not on Nordfrost's side as his real luck stunk. Nuffle had something against him and was happy with coach Oblitzamanger for some reason. Coach Oblitzamanger made another sacrifice to the God after the game which pleased him well.

With 100k, coach Oblitzamanger was able to replace Blitzer Linda who had picked up a niggling injury in a block in the last game. Throwers Jessica and Patricia both learned Sure Hands as their first skills. And Catcher Molly took block to protect herself better. The team is clearly the best in the running for the Blitz Invitational and will most likely end up in first place. They have a good shot at retaining the Championships if they manage to beat the Woodland Dash.

Coach Oblitzamanger said this to us after the game and the sacrifice. "I am very pleased with the team. I thought they did well and played hard."

"I want to thank coach Nordfrost for the game. He was very polite and a nice coach to play against. He did get a little dice raped, but nothing too bad as his team got a whopping 90k! I hope that his plans of retiring the team won't be fufilled just yet as they look pretty damned good right now. Might I suggest buying a third re-roll with that cash and then saving up that remaining 60k for a second thrower. I hope he doesn't retire the team and thanks for the game!"
