“A lot of people would consider games like this boring, but personally I like when the defenses are tight and the strategy becomes somewhat like a game of chess, where you tie the opponents up and protect your own players as well as you can.
The Marauders scored a TD in the first half and after that the match turned to a stalemate. In the 2nd half the Marauders didn't touch the ball a single time, but through excellent defense it also never travelled across the middle of the field.
Jack "Safeguard" Stiller emerged as the obvious star of the match with the only TD and 2 casualties.
Thanks MachSphere for an interesting game and for a pleasant chat during the match. I'm also happy that neither team suffered any injuries.”
“This game was quite a tense considering it was a bit of a stalemate. Both teams working hard not to open up any gaps that the opposing team would capitalize on.
The Marauders did an excellent job at keeping the Loco Muchachos at bay in the 2nd half. They came extremely close to stripping the ball from my ball carrier but with some luck and tactics I was able to keep it out of there hands but also unfortunately out of my own end zone. The Marauders were obviously the better team of the day and worked well and hard to deserve the win and prevent me from scoring.
Pirog was always a good sport throughout the match and I was very fortunate that he had minimal luck with armour rolls as my team could've been cut down to a small size.
Congratulations on the win! Though I got more money???.... go figure?”
