“Playing my first ogre team match I must say that I enjoyed it greatly. Although I don't think this is the type of team that really works for the most serious play funny things are always bound to happen :)

UBPDT played with a very risky offensive strategy that payed off greatly. They simply stormed one of the flanks each turn and often managed to make a 2 turn TD while my ogres were bound up by opponents and my gitz too feeble to really do other things than being run over. The UBPDT had an almost insane success with the dodges through the whole match. Logic of course stands out as the big hero of the match with his 3 TD's.

The match started with an immediate 2 turn TD for the elves.
A Quick Snap on the following kickoff allowed the ogres to enclose and stomp the elven LOS, but the gits of course fumbled with the ball in the back lines. Quick linesmen rushed the ball and attempted to throw it out of the goblin cluster, but Booga' (with fingers gluey of snot) managed to intercept the ball!

Meanwhile the ogres kept pummeling the elven LOS. Smug's ferocious stomp got Captain carried off the field with a concussion, Lobb snapped Dangers spine with a blow and the goblin Kleeb killed the stunned Cabal with a smuggled sharp stick. (All in the same round.) With these terrible injuries the right flank collapsed and the gobbo ball runner could sneak through! Quick elven interceptors caught up to him and knocked him out, but little green gobbo hands soon snatched the ball up again and forced through an equalizer.

With 1-1 and 3 high elves either dead or badly wounded things looked bright, but UBPDT responded with yet another lightning quick TD before the half was over.

In the 2nd half the Big 'Urt scored a both unexpected and amusing TD. While trying to form an ogre flesh cage around the ball carrier a tackle made the ball end up in the hands of Big Lump. The obese ogre started running towards the end zone with his flesh bouncing and knees cracking from the tension. The elves had no chance of stopping the steam roller and the Big 'Urt had once again equalized.

UBPDT proved too fast though, and through their offensive play (and a lucky blitz) gave them two more TD's before the match ended, and even managed to kill poor Fungus.

The gitz were happy though. "Hee hee, did yer see us givin' dem da boot", Kleeb bosted after the match. "Dey be goin back to deiz 'omes, 'fraid of da gitz now...n' dat means we'ze be winnin' anywayz, no?"”
