In a fantasic clash of the undead wooden spoon battlers, Los Muerto took the spoils 2-0 scoring 2 touch downs in the second half.
The game kicked off in fine weather, the kind that forces bald men to seek shade... and the No-hopers recieved the ball off the kick off , they then proceeded to use a rolling cage tactic to roll the ball down the sideline. With some grit and determination Los Muerto were able to hold on after nearly letting the no-hopers through on a number of occasions, a few deft plays by the werewolf Apollo and Los Muerto were able to get a lucky break to clear the ball back to half way.
From this point on in the half the game became bogged down in the middle of the pitch... and reduced to a battle of attrition.
The second half saw the Necros take the offensive in audacious styke, dodging recievers at the LOS time and again to give star thrower Nomre multiple targets in the undeads backfield. The plan didnt quite come off as a sensational interception was made by Majaw of the no-hopers... but unfortunately for the hoppers it was to no avail as he was easily isolated and the ball was retrieved allowing star wolf Apollo a free run into the end zone.
Unfortunately on the restart the hoppers luck was not with them, as they were badly exposed for skill coughing the ball up again allowing Apollo to return the ball for another td...
In summary it was a day of great strategy, and a lot of bad luck and skill on the hopers behalf, the hopers coach will be dissapointed with his players efforts and even more concerned at the injuries to his two star players, and a death of another... these being major contributors to the hopers loss... and enough to make a coach with the solidest of hairlines go bald!!!”
