Well, from the start of the match to the finish, the game was over. I failed my first pickup with the re-roll and I lost. He got a badly hurt on his first block. I managed to run through his half and after scrambling to get the ball for four turns, I got it and scored in an amazing fashion of luck. 1 - 0 Lustria Blazers
The Chaos Flings weren't able to score before the half, but they came mighty close, only needing a 4+ to make a pass, a catch, and a GFI to score back. Halftime: 1 - 0 Lustria Blazers
But the Blazers had by that point lost almost all of their players to injury. It was amazing how fast they were picked off. I was surprised there weren't more deaths. Anyway, the Blazers almost stopped the score when a Troll triple skulled on a Skink. However, they were unable to knock down the ballcarrier with four one dice blocks, even a Both Down result didn't show, which I would have taken had it popped up.
After that, they swarmed us and ran away with it. Clearing the pitch just before Overtime. Full Time: 1 - 1
Anyway, with just one Skink who recovered from a KO, I had no chance as he was KOed again. Goth didn't stall the entire overtime period and so I had a small unbearable chance to score back. But in my excitement, my Skink, who did have the ball, failed his GFI with a re-roll and badly hurt himself, ending my slim chances at drawing the match and hoping to go through on a coin flip. Final Score: 2 - 1
Anyway, I'm glad I lost. I think Skinks are good, but they need a Big Guy or they suck. I didn't want to advance anyway with all those injuries...
Despite the massacre, I really enjoyed the match. I mean, why else play Stunty other than to see massacres? I want to thank coach Goth for getting this game done early (well late for him, he played at 5 am in the morning!). I hope he goes far in the tourney and I wish good luck to him and his team!”
