#11 Mas Amedda – Smashed Knee (NI) #11 Mas Amedda – Broken Ribs (MNG)
“It was a frustrating game for the Necro as he kept getting let down by his golems and woofies inability to send beasties of the pitch the 'ard way.
Still, he got the opening score of the game and might have been able to pull into halftime up 1-0 if he'd had a bit better luck on defense. He put pressure on the ball carrier but never got his wight or Wolves to give the beast a solid thwack! We equalized quickly ('quickly' for Chaos that is) down the flank, adding to the necro frustration: tied 1-1 and only one serious chaos casualty due to a foul. Maybe the wolves and golems needed a talking too at half time...
In the second half, Chaos took over. Marched the ball down the flank again, and as necro players become less numerous on the pitch, tried a pass that went incomplete. The wolves tried to get to the ball, but they could only dodge so much and before you knew it several Necro attempts to get back in the game ended with wolves dodging on to their backs. Chaos punched the ball into the endzone on their last play of the half.
I understand the sense of dice rape that comes with these games, but I think Necromantic teams in particular suffer from Werewolves being too all-important. You're always going to thunked by Nuffle whenever you rely alot on creatures that need many dice rolls to do the business.
Maybe a necro team with more wights and ghouls is better balanced to win close games?”
