“This match was more brutal than I would have thought. The poor elves went down 2 men on my first kickoff reception, but the sneaky long-ears were able to scoot around my beasts after a failed gfi on a blitz and stole the ball away for a fairly easy score, putting the Jacksons in a 0-2 hole. This hole was quickly filled, as casualties mounted (I did lose a player on a double-down [I chose that rather than a pushback] who was SI'd and niggled] and despite the elves' best efforts to kill the ball, the Jacksons showed some of their nifty moves gfi to the ball, making a long pass, running for the handoff, and gfi into the end zone for the miracle win.

I'm glad the one SI the elves recieved had no other lasting effects, other than missing a game. I did feel partially responsible for crushing 2 guys on the LOS the first chance I had.

This was a very enjoyable game against a coach who made nearly every roll he had to. I can't count how many 2tz dodges were made to blitz my goats, and I nearly every one die block went his way. This was a great introduction for me into the 5v5 realm. I can't wait for more.”
