A sold out crowd showed up on a beautiful day to watch the San Jose Baggers play the Bjorn's Reserves here at the stadium affectionatly know as "The Body Bagg"

A challenging kick off started the first half off badly for the Baggers. The team performed well and pushed the norse away to give Fendy Scrod ample time to field the ball, but he had difficulty in handling. The norse applied pressure and kept it expertly applied while the baggers struggled for most of the half to organize their side. A the 4 turn point, the baggers got a break, knocking out two players. With the sides lopsided, the baggers formed a cage and marched to the midfield line while injuring one of the key Reservist. The Reserves were no longer able to match the baggers strength for strength and opted for a bend don't break approach for the final two turns of the half. The baggers scored easily after a daring toss to Shaggy Strinkrak. Coach Bagg has been known to put player morale above winning while preparing the team for bigger things. I don't understand it, but that why he gets paid the big bucks to coach the team, and I volunteer to tell people about it.

The second half started poorly for the Reservist. They were unable to handle the ball. The Baggers got over zealous and left a gaping hole in the line. Reservist Cheech passed the ball to Chong. Funny, I would never have never thought those two could ever make a decent team, color me purple. Chong played a risky game and tried to stall for a sure tie. He was besieged by Grog Smack the smelly ogre for what seemed like an eternity. His fast feet helped him avoid the crushing ogre blows. In the final turn, Grog stood defiantly in the endzone saying "YOU NOT SCORE". A few seconds later he was seen killing several fans who thought they were tough enough to beat him up. The throng overwhelmed him and he woke up in the dugout. Chong scored the equalizer and this set up some of the finest heroics this reporter has ever seen, a perfect storm if you will.

A crappy kick and a quick start had the Reservist fans calling for an offside. But with the help of his teamate's precision blocking and his own nifty dodging, Slick Rick covered the entire field before the final gun to give the Bagger's a final lift to vicotry.

Look for the Baggers in the upcoming Human XFL. They are defintely in good form right now.
