“This game featured the uber-violence of Pobredumbre, an uncommonly hard-hitting team. In fact, during the opening drive, no fewer than EIGHT members of Green Silence were sent to the bench to tend various injuries. The first touchdown was effortless for the Undead. A successful counterattack up the flank allowed Green Silence to level the score - despite being down numbers.
The second half saw sweltering heat, which greatly hindered the undead, who couldn't seem to get up to play. Then a fumble behind the line let the skinks race around and snap up the ball, and they ran off far more quickly than any of the Pobredumbre could go, and scored with ease.
With time winding down, Pobredumbre cranked up the urgency looking for a score. A sure-footed skink slipped and fell while trying to Go For It and make the defensive play, and that was all it took for the score to be 2-2.
A wild game against a worthy opponent. That luck % is absolutely ridiculous... my opponent didn't have good luck, tis true, but I have never seen so many Sauri hauled off to the injury box. They were more fragile than the skinks! If our luck hadn't turned around for the second half, surely Pobredumbre would have won.”
“A well played match played for the snakies managed by an unlucky injuries-roll Kryten. The first half was a typical dwarf-game (square formation :D) played by Pobredumbre's team, smashing the Sauri again and again: 4 Sauri and 4 Skins in the bench at the end of the 1st half.
In the 2nd half "Green Silence" took the initiative. With a handful of players did an excelent play to made 2 quick TD's demonstrating that the heat is really bad for the undeads (so tired for the prior violence) and stimulant for the cold blood Sauri.
Finally a surprising 2 final turns elf-game played by the undeads (the time changed, of course ;D) with more than a lucky strike ("snake eyes" -GFI with a "Sure Feet " Skink- in the first defensive move of the 8th turn of Kryten's team) made possible the tie. Finally, a fair result.
Very violence and funny match. My undeads will be waiting for the re-match, Kryten
