“ A must win game for the WDDs if they were to have any hope of staving off relegation. The Woodies went into this match nursing a few bruises from their close encounter with Da Greenskin Raiders, but this was nothing compared to the punishment the Duskriders recieved in their last game.
The Woodelves jumped to an early 2-0 lead with some solid offence and a lightnitng blitzkrieg defence. Mikey the Bikey scored on Debut and Drummo addded the other. Then the Men of Wood took their foot off the pedal and found themselves against some stiff opposition. Some strong blocking coupled with some amazing passes from Duskwind brought the scores level 2-2 just after the break.
Another quick score from Holmsy set up a tense finale. Drummo was causing the Duskriders offence all sorts of trouble by sliding through tackles like a knife threw hot butter. However the Darkies should have scored an equaliser but for the incompatence of star blitzer Slyblade Spite IV. This alllowed the Golden Child to complete the victory on the siren.

3pts: Duskwind Strongarm - How do you defend against an man who throws the ball half amile on dime. Always looked in a leauge of his own.

2pts: Twighlight Deathmoth - Strong, Agile and hard to Knock down. This guy was a constant menace.

1pt: Darkmoon BlackKnife V - Played a good alround game. Scored 1 TD and helped set the other. WIll become a vital cog of the future Duskrider team.

Special Mention: Laviak and the girls from We Fink wer Orks - If they had not left the Dark Elfs with only 9 players and minus their star Witch Elf Demonette Nightshade this game would have been a very different affair.

Thanks Longshanks for the game it must have been a bitter pill to swollow on your last turn. Hopefully we will both stay up because we will both need the recovery match again next season.”
