#2 Wernher von Braun – Dead (RIP)
This game was an important game for the competition. To the coaches were highly motivated to win this game… a promising match-up.

The Warthogs won the toss, and assisted by a bad kick they moved forward a few paces, not lucky in their dice. There was a small opening though, the catcher ball carrier was blocked and tackled, and with luck the ball scattered out of bounce and was thrown in before the feet of one of the Wight brothers (catcher), running to the open, he failed his 2nd GFI (1 and RR: made 1). After one more turn Wilbur Wright got the ball again, one last attempt the Warthogs had one blitz move on the catcher, but no knockdown was made. In turn 3 the Engineers scored 1-0 in their 3rd turn. 3 times double scull and 5 RR’s spend by both teams, this game started high on RR’s indeed.

The 2nd kick-off result was a good coaching act, one more RR for the Warthogs. They rushed though the middle, trying to force a gap, but once more the Engineers were able to knock the ball lose. And again Wilbur Wright was able to receive the ball in a tackle zone and get away from the clash with the ball, he scored his 2nd td of this game in turn 7: 2-0.

Early in the 2nd half the ball wasn’t caught by the same Wilbur Wright, so after a few good tactical turns of the Warthogs, they scored 2-1.

The next defence the Warthogs blitzing the ball forcing trying to force the 2-2 on the board, this opened up a hole and the Engineers scored 3-1.

The Warthogs were trying to force a quick 3-2 next, but the lone Blitzer was brought down by the Engineers, the ball was picked up by Marie Curie (thrower) a pass would have made a good chance on 4-1, but Jethro Manford had a great day, dodging twice (roll of 6 and 5) and making the interception!!!! He scored quickly after that his 2nd td. This must have been the play of the day! And he makes a good attempt to get the player of the week award, scoring only in this game 15 SSP!!!!

The last Drive of the game the Engineers were able to score without much trouble the final score of 4-2. The Engineers are back in business.

Thanks for the game Voodoo! Exciting game!
