“Managed to get 5 norse off the pitch in the 1st half - unfortunately, they were all ko's. 3 came back, so 2nd half started with 10 each and gobbos just could do nothing to halt the norse drive. 2troll and 2 gobbos vs. kick skill meant no turn 8 TTM attempt was really likely.
In overtime, a good kick to the endzone spread out the norse and allowed the gobbos several cracks at the ball. But each time the norse were able to pick it back up again and a failed gobbo dodge allowed them to blitz free their ballcarrier for the walk-in score to win it.
Just got to get a dp to make my fouling more effective!
“Even though it doesn't show, Luck was a big factor in this match. All my players were K'o injuries, and more than half came back after he scored first. My thrower never failed to pick up the ball which was key, cuz I got one reroll, and thats my weakness.
Frenzy was usefull but not a huge factor. The gob's with Dodge made the "Big Play" work well, but wasn't 100% sucessfull. Overall Block was a big factor as well, he had none, all mine did. I was knocking down the trolls with 2 dice HE picked more than half the time.
