“Another game where the handicap came to save the Blight. Doom and Gloom helped even the RR difference, but it was the well targetted 'It wasn't me! on Gurehl Goldenhoove that really tipped things to the Blight. Even so, there was a heck of a lot of Guard to get around.
The first turn was perfect with a Blitz, although Goose got around my players. Thanks to the investment in a wizard, a well timed Lightening Bolt stopped Stompy in his tracks and allowed rookie Cuuv Zuesteten to get the ball. A bit of work and tactical blocking and the Blight were on the board.
Some lucky KOs and injuries meant Goose was down on players and that meant the Blight was allowed to exploit his lack of speed. Nufflekoff Cursenen scored his first TD as well, and 2-0 was the final result. A failed apoth on Ahmed the Mad compounded things for Goose.
Twahnlows
---------------
#3 - Stompy. Faster than Zahr'il Trih and more agile, he proved the most dangerous to our plays.
#2 - Zahr'il Trih. A threat with Block and Tackle.
#1 - Reek. MVP and good use of a Troll. ”
