“My 1,000th game on Fumbbl and it was only fitting that I played against the friend that introduced me to the site, Wotfudboy.
I think I have taken the lions share of games between us, so with this big event Wotfudboy took the chance to rewrite the history books and get one back against me.
The Orcs were unable to cope with the agile Elves, 3 times they had the ball, 3 times they lost it allowing the Elves to score, each involving a 3+ rerolled failure which may have changed things a little. Not that I think I would have won against Wotfudboy and his Elves in this form, but I might have made him sweat a little.
I guess the game also showed me how I have changed as a coach. I started on Fumbbl as a Human / High Elf coach, after some early beatings started these guys and entered a phase of enjoying the comfort of high AV, then later started to enjoy the low AV sides, who although lose players by the shed load, are able to pull off many unusual and fun plays.
Thanks again for the game Wotfudboy, was another fun match, I'll get you next time!

Barkley Brown (my Tree of old) made it to Star Player status in style, killing Grok the Troll with the first block of the game, who in turn failed to regenerate, but fortunately for Duke the apoth was on hand to save him.
The rest of the game continued with Duke failing key 3+ rolls, and the Wanderers not really doing much wrong.
The only downside, after the +FF and much needed cash, and Barkley Brown not ageing was that Ren Poinsonfruit IV aged at 16spp, with -av. I've gone through too many wardancers in this team over 51 games... and it looks like another one is not long for this world!
