“The Rats lined up against the Wood Elves, and got the high scoring game expected.
The main turning point in the game happened early on, as the wood elves received, then under pressure from the Gutter runners failed a GFI leaving the ball open, 1-0 to the Rats. From there the each side scored, leaving the Elves the chance to tie the game before the break which they failed to manage, 2-1.
The second half the Rats received and after some error on both sides, each managed a score to take the game to 3-2. The rats received once more, but this time there was heavy pressure from the Elves, but the Rats managed to dig in and score again for a final score of 4-2.
A fun, high scoring game and one which could and perhaps should have been 3-3 rather than the slightly more flattering score line of 4-2.”
