“This was the first game of the GLTII ! The Horde of Horca was up against an almost equally tough orcish team named Skull Crushas! This team was coached by none the less than the very skilled coach Flix!
Though this did not scare the Horde! They had won the SC before and they knew they could do it again. Patience and a little luck were they key part of our strategy :-)
As both teams hired morg he could not decide wich side he would pick so he just took both sides money and ran off. Since no one has the guts to argue Morg there was nothing more to be done in this matter.
The game then started of with the Horde on the attacking side. Pretty early it stood clear that the Horde was the "stronger" team with more guard and a ST6 Troll brutally punching everything in the way. And the ST6 troll was the one to draw first blood as he went for a two dice block against the SCs troll, and rolled skull/pow. Both trolls went down, only one troll got up Hollie! SC troll got Badly Hurt but he managed to regenerate that injury.
The game then continued with some orc brawling forth and back, but in the end the Horde managed to scoore a late TD giving them the 1-0 lead over the SC. The SC tried with a gobbothrow TD but failed.
Second half pretty much picked up where the first one left off, orc brawling fouling and mayhem. Both coaches failed some GFIs that resulten in a few risky turnovers (SC thrower dropping the ball, the hordes thrower faling to position him next to the ball) and after we sumed things up the SC managed to scoore a turn 6 equalizing touchdown! OT was looking hard to avoid...
But then the two heros of the Horde stepped forward. The troll Hollie and the little goblin called Mikki! With some great ballhandling and gobbohnalding they managed to pull of the infamous gobbothrow resulting in a 2-1 td when there was only one turn left for the SC. And as their troll was KO they did not get the chance of throwing their own gobbo. The game ended 2-1 and the horde has managed to win this first game!
