“LoBBo is a great opponent and the match was very fun mainly because of him. I'm glad I played this game instead of watching Battlestar Galactica.

The main problem for him was that I made is difficult for him to play his game using the basic strategy against Lizardmen. I pinned down the Sauri with worthless players and forced his Skinks to dodge to be in good position. Ultimately, he failed dodges and blocks, which worked to my advantage. And although that is kind of leaving it up to luck, it worked for me today and my opponent was only unlucky all game.

The worst part was when an early block smashed the knee of a Saurus, taking him out of the game. Since he only had four players ST4 to begin with, losing one was huge. His Skinks were very unlucky in the backfield and I managed to blitz around in there enough to pop the ball free several times and get it myself. Even then he was able to mark me and was just a few dodges away from taking the ball carrier down. Luckily, his dodge failed and mine succeeded as I scored on his drive. 1 - 0 Magic Realm of Mutation

Since I had the ref the whole half, I felt it was my duty to foul on turn 8, badly hurting a Skink, which proved to be vital for me in the second half.

I started my cage deep on one side of the pitch to draw all his skinks to cover the gap in his line. But then I switched back and raced across the middle of the pitch, just behind the mid-pitch brawl with his ST4 players. Somehow, a few of my players got away and the cage was set up on the opposite side of the field. I was given time by an unlucky turnover and the Skinks were therefore too far away to catch up, even with MA8. So, I handed off to a 5 SPP player and he scored easily. 2 - 0 Magic Realm of Mutation

He couldn't get the ball out of his backfield and on his last turn, the ball was in my hands somehow, so the game ended with no further scoring.

I got +FF, yeah!
100k winnings isn't too shabby either! Basically, I rolled a 6 with +1 for winning and +3 for the gate. I bought a Chaos Warrior with the money and still have 50k left over.

I got two skills. One was a double and I taught him Big Hand to pick up the ball easier. The other was normal, so I got Block.

It was a great game and I want to thank coach LoBBo again. I will gladly play him again anytime.”
