“The amazons started on offence however after a failed crowdpush attempt the dark elves stole the ball. After some scrambling the ball was secured by the Assassins and they advanced near the sideline, removing the players of Divinity from the pitch very effectively. Eventually they scored losing only one player in the first half, while four amazons were taken out of play. The half ended 1-0 for the dark elves.
With only eight players versus an almost full squad of dark elves Divinity was almost sure to lose, since one quick TD could have sealed the game. The dark elves formed a cage midfield looking for a side to advance and sending two players and sending two receivers downfield. Divinity concentrated on taking out players and covering the receivers and opening the cage. Coverage wasn't perfect, and while trying to free a receiver Oronin, the brave dark elf died. This turnover gave a chance for Divinity to take down the ballcarrier. This succeeding a scrum like in the first half started. Effective blocking and fouls thined the lines of the Assassins enabling the amazons to form a cage-like thing. At that time there were five dark elves and seven amazons on the pitch. The ball was moved quite securely and the amazons scored, so the game was dragged into overtime.
Overtime saw Divinity kicking with six linewoman to four lineelves. Six became five after the first block, but the amazons tried to go for the ball. Soon enough three amazons battled three elves in an epic clash around the ball. A horrid blunder from the ladies resulted in the ball bouncing onto the hands of an elf! Amrawen the elf couldn't belive his luck and ran for it. Blitzing her was not an option, so the Queen of Immortality blitzed another elf and after taking him down put a tacklezone in Amrawen. So it was now Amrawen vs The Queen of Immortality. Amrawen running, the Queen after him. Finally the queen took down the elf, Amrawen tried to get revenge, but fell in the attempt. Now the amazons had the chance to score, but the queen fumbled. The Assassins tried to take down one of the possible receivers, this resulted in both players going down and leaving the pitch. Making the game a 2vs2. The Queen fumled again, the ref blew his whistle. 1-1 Draw. Coin toss decided that the elves advance to the finals.
