“The Orcs turned up again full of confidence and then something changed. Maybe it was the early injuries, maybe it was the slippery pitch/ball/soles of their shoes, but whatever it was their pre-match confidence soon evaporated in a sea of failure. Only the gobbos first half ineptitude let them escape with a 0-0.
Second half was a similiar story, with both sides struggling to do anything right (aside from injure players) until the Ogres Turn 7 where they went psycho and smashed Orcs to all parts (including the sad death of the Orcs only thrower).
A lamentable re-rolled failure on a dif 3 dodge to blitz the ball carrier sealed the win for the Ogres.
A good close fun game all round against a friendly coach.
Good Luck in the rest of the tournament, I think that both of our teams are going to need it!”
Really close tense match in which one great turn for the ogres sealed a lucky win. Not the orcs day at all from a MB blitzer BH'ing himself dodging, to losing a cas because of a proxy disconnect (although Cpt James did exact revenge!)
Thanks for another fun game Owein.
Cheers,
