“The Rats lined up against the Chaos, expecting pain, and were not disappointed.

The Rats scored early on, then prepared for the worst ... in fact some were so well prepared their wills had been written and passed to their close ones, with instructions on which cheese should be served at the wake.

The Chaos took over and began their crunching. Several Rats left the field, but the remaining ones fought bravely, and towards the end of the Chaos drive, brought down the Warrior with the ball, they had done enough to remain 1-0 up at half time.

The second half was more of the same, 6 Rats took the field, as the Chaos pain machine began grinding it's way down the field with more pain inflicted, as well as Rats leaving the field, most not to return this game. The rats did what they could to slow the advance, Nearly Bald Ned becoming roadkill, but in such a way that even the Chaos crowd would not dispute his MVP performance. The Chaos would not be stopped though and scored 1-1.

The 5 reamining Rats took to the field, 2 Gutter runners getting in position down field to receive and one back in his own half, running round in a panic, knowing the Chaos were coming his way. After he had advanced some way they reached and felled him, but too late to score, leaving the Rats one last chance at a winning TD. With a gutter waiting for a pass in the end zone, the attempt to pick up the ball failed, leaving the game at a just draw.

Another fun game against a great guy. Prinz had his chance at revenge for some of my poor humour and Ned pain the price for me, but the rats sail on.”
